We offer a starting wage of $16.50 /hour with quarterly bonuses and raises, and a starting pay of $17.50/hour with a completed bachelors. There are many opportunities for advancement if you're interested in sticking with us and getting leadership experience as well! A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A YOUTH MENTOR So, what do our youth mentors do? Is it just glorified babysitting? Nope. Please read on! You monitor and care for the physical, emotional, and social needs of New Haven's students. Most of your time is spent participating in activities with our teen students. This can include going to the movies or museums, cooking meals, day hiking, river rafting, camping, and more! The shifts are as follows: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 7:00 am- 3:00 pm; 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm.
